GROUNDS STAFF
London Colney Parish Council has extensive grounds in London Colney, and we are seeking a hard-working and self-motivated person to join our grounds maintenance team to assist in the practical management of our recreation grounds and open spaces.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a related field such as grounds maintenance or horticulture. The duties will include pitch mowing and marking, vegetation clearance, litter collection, and some aspects of equipment repairs and maintenance.
This is a temporary position, with the potential to move to permanent. The role is 24 hours per week with an immediate start.

Salary Scale Point 10-13, starting salary £15,879 per annum pro rata (£25,545 full time equivalent) £13.28 per hour (2024/25 pay award pending). Hours of work: 0830-1700 over 3 days with half an hour for lunch
